Kontak hydraulic valve repair

A Kontak hydraulic valve (7 section) was brought into our workshop for inspection.  Our engineer dismantled the valve and all parts were cleaned and inspected for wear.  The seals were found to be worn and parts were missing from some handle assemblies.  The worksections were in need of a thorough clean due to excessive rust and contamination. 


The valve was reassembled with the following new parts:-

The repaired valve was tested for operation and the relief valve pressures checked.

Parker Torqmotor hydraulic motor inspection

A local fisherman brought in a Parker Torqmotor hydraulic motor for inspection and possible reseal.  Unfortunately the motor was beyond economical repair because the shaft was badly worn.  The fisherman ordered a new motor and needed it urgently because he was due out on the open sea in two days time and it operated the winch used to pull in the crab pots.  We did not hold the Parker Torqmotor hydraulic motor in stock, however, our sales team managed to source one and arranged for a next day morning delivery.  Our customer returned to collect the hydraulic motor and kindly gave us a tray of freshly cooked crabs as a thank you.

It was all in a day’s work for our team, but  it was lovely to know it was appreciated and to receive such a kind gesture from a satisfied customer.

 

 

Sauer Danfoss hydraulic motor repair - 151F0581

A Manitou winch assembly was brought into our workshop for repair.  Our engineer took the Sauer Danfoss hydraulic motor (151F0581) off the winch.  The motor was dismantled and all parts cleaned and inspected for wear.  The seals were found to be worn.  Our engineer repaired the motor using the following parts:-

The repaired motor was tested on our in-house test rig and then reconnected to the Manitou winch assembly.

Commercial hydraulic motor (M350A)

A leisure boat owner came to us with a Denison hydraulic vane motor for inspection because it was not rotating properly and there was excessive oil from the drain line.  Upon inspection the motor was found to be uneconomical to repair.  We quoted the leisure boat owner for a Commercial hydraulic motor (M350A) as a replacement for the Denison hydraulic vane motor.

A Commercial hydraulic motor (M350A) was built in our workshop to suit our customer's specificiations, using the following parts:-

Hydraulic Repairs - hydraulic motor (MHA1400C107BV1512226)

Roll on the good weather and a day out at the fairground ...

Today our engineer is delivering a repaired HTL hydraulic motor (Hydrostatic Transmissions Limited) to a fairground ride owner.  The hydraulic motor (MHA1400C107BV1512226) was sent to our workshop and upon inspection was found to have a broken output shaft and worn cylinder block.  A new shaft and cylinder block were fitted, together with a seal kit, oldham plate, bearing cup and cone sets.  After re-assembly the HTL hydraulic motor was tested on our in-house test rig and then prepared for despatch to our customer.

Danfoss HTP pump

A customer ordered a Danfoss HTP40 pump (part number 153H0509).  Although we did not have that particular model in stock, our engineer built one using the following items:-

The Danfoss HTP pump is an example of turf maintenance (ground care) hydraulics supplied by P&R Hydraulics Ltd.  Unfortunately the Danfoss HTP (hydrostatic transmission pump) is obsolete and our stock is limited, however we currently have stock available for the following part numbers:-

A Sauer Danfoss PVG32 valve was built in our workshop, to our customer's specifications. The PVG32 valve was tested on our in-house test rig and the relief valves were set. (The image is of the partly assembled Sauer Danfoss PVG32 valve.)
