Danfoss PVG32 hydraulic valve

A Danfoss PVG32 valve was built in our workshop, to our customer's specifications. Our customer manufactures excavators (both track and wheeled) and required a two sectioned PVG32 valve for their recent build.

Before any inspection could take place the DVA20 spool valve had to be cleaned of excess dirt. The valve was then dismantled and all parts cleaned.  Our engineer inspected the parts and found the spools to be pitted, the fastener seized inside the worksection, the seals were stiff and the detent kit damaged.  This was reported to our customer, who requested that only the seals should be renewed.  The valve was resealed (as per our customer's instructions), reassembled and tested on our in-house test rig.  The resealed DVA20 spool valve was returned to our customer in a much cleaner state, but without a warranty given.

Danfoss PVG32 valve repair

A Danfoss PVG32 valve was brought into our workshop because the customer had deadheaded it.

Our engineer dismantled the valve and cleaned all parts. Upon inspection he found the electrical actuator (157B4033) only worked in one direction and the mechanical actuator (157B3171) was cracked.

The valve was repaired using the following new parts:-

The repaired PVG32 valve was tested and returned to our customer.

On-site our engineer removed the differential lock valve from the mower. This was then dismantled, resealed and re-installed. Our engineer checked the mower for leaks and operation before leaving the site.

A local farmer was having problems with his Raptor strawbedding machine and called our hydraulic engineer out to site. The Sauer Danfoss OMS250 motor (151.0483) was removed from the machine and brought back to our workshop for repair. A further site visit was needed to refit the repaired Sauer Danfoss OMS250 motor (151.0483) and a new Sauer Danfoss dual cross line relief valve (158H8031). Our hydraulic engineer left the site only when happy that the Raptor strawbedding machine was working satisfactorily.

Kontak hydraulic valve repair

A Kontak hydraulic valve (7 section) was brought into our workshop for inspection.  Our engineer dismantled the valve and all parts were cleaned and inspected for wear.  The seals were found to be worn and parts were missing from some handle assemblies.  The worksections were in need of a thorough clean due to excessive rust and contamination. 


The valve was reassembled with the following new parts:-
