A customer ordered a Hy-Pro V5 single section valve to be built to his own specifications.  Our engineer built the V5 single section valve using the following parts:-

V5-80         Bolt Set

Danfoss PVG32/4 valve assembly inspection

A Danfoss PVG32/4 valve assembly was brought to our workshop for inspection.  The valve was dismantled, all parts cleaned and inspected for wear.  The internal parts were badly worn and the valve was beyond economical repair.

Biomass hydraulic power unit inspection

Our on-site hydraulic engineer was called out to inspect a biomass hydraulic power unit.  The valves and hydraulic pump were removed from the hydraulic power unit and taken back to P & R for inspection in our workshop.  No faults were found during the test procedure on the valves.  The engineer returned to site together with the tested valves, a replacement hydraulic pump and coupling.  The hydraulic power unit was reassembled and checked for leaks and operation.  Once satisfied that everything worked OK, our engineer left the site.

P & R Hydraulics exhibiting at LAMMA 2015

P & R Hydraulics is attending LAMMA 2015.

For those that don't know, LAMMA is the UK's largest farm machinery, equipment and agricultural services show.  Now in its 34th year, and held in January each year with over 900 exhibitors, LAMMA is free to attend and regularly attracts over 40,000 farmers from around the country and overseas.  For anyone seeking ideas on how to make improvements to their agricultural equipment fleet, it's certainly the place to be on 21st to 22nd January.

We will be co-exhibiting with one of our premium partners, Hy-Pro, in order to showcase their range of hydraulic valve products and our valve maintenance services.

In addition, we will also be promoting the very latest hydraulic motors, pumps and valves from Parker Hannifin, Turolla and Danfoss.  With such a wide range of products available, together with our long demonstrable track record of experience, P & R have got the agricultural sector covered!

Danfoss Power Solutions course

As an official distributor for Danfoss Power Solutions, P & R Hydraulics has access to resources that include training courses.  Justin Gill and Fred Edwards of P & R Hydraulics recently attended a Danfoss  Power Solutions course titled “Failure Analysis and Repair” at their production plant in Neumunster, Germany.  The five day course was for technicians who have at least two years experience of repairing/servicing Danfoss Power Solutions products. 

The following products were covered:-

·         S90 Pumps and Motors, S51, H1 Pumps and Motors

·         S45 (open circuit pumps)

·         Steering

·         Large, medium and small orbital motor product lines

·         PVG16, PVG32, PVG100 and PVG120

Both Justin and Fred have gained vast knowledge of Danfoss Power Solutions hydraulic products over the years, but felt the course served as a good refresher and was worthwhile attending.   They also found it very informative talking to the other delegates and sharing experiences.

Danfoss PVG32 hydraulic valve

A Danfoss PVG32 valve was built in our workshop, to our customer's specifications. Our customer manufactures excavators (both track and wheeled) and required a two sectioned PVG32 valve for their recent build.
