Hydraulic repairs, inspections and tests. In-house workshop and test rig. Products covered are hydraulic pumps, motors, valves etc. Hydraulic knowledge enables us to assist customers with designing hydraulic systems. New products can be supplied if original unit unrepairable.
Biomass hydraulic power unit inspection
Our on-site hydraulic engineer was called out to inspect a biomass hydraulic power unit. The valves and hydraulic pump were removed from the hydraulic power unit and taken back to P & R for inspection in our workshop. No faults were found during the test procedure on the valves. The engineer returned to site together with the tested valves, a replacement hydraulic pump and coupling. The hydraulic power unit was reassembled and checked for leaks and operation. Once satisfied that everything worked OK, our engineer left the site.
