Hydraulic repair on a Case Poclain 60PB excavator

A scrap metal merchant was having problems with his Case Poclain 60PB excavator, so he asked our hydraulics engineer out to site to investigate the hydraulics on the machinery.  The reasons for failure appeared to be a faulty pilot pressure valve and the secondary hydraulic pump was worn. 

A second visit was necessary in order to fit a replacement pump and valve whilst rebuilding the machinery, together with new hydraulic oil .  Also more tests were carried out, the main pump pressure was checked whilst the machine was hot and the pilot pressure was increased for the joysticks.

Our engineer left the site when he and the customer were satisfied with the work done.
