A Sauer Danfoss PVG32 valve was built in our workshop, to our customer's specifications. The PVG32 valve was tested on our in-house test rig and the relief valves were set. (The image is of the partly assembled Sauer Danfoss PVG32 valve.)

We hold refurbished units in stock and can send these out immediately, helping you to keep your downtime to a minimum.  A surcharge is charged pending the arrival of the old unit and our satisfaction that this unit is repairable.  Not only do we supply refurbished Ransomes wheel motors, but we can also supply seal kits if you prefer to do your own repairs.

Case 721 CXT Loading Shovel - hydraulic repair

 

Case 721 CXT Loading Shovel

A customer reported a fault wth their Case 721 CXT loading shovel and asked our engineer to visit the site to inspect the hydraulics on the machine.

The pressures to the joystick, from the joystick to the main spool valve, and in the main spool valve were fine.  The flow from the joystick to the spool valve appeared poor at first, but improved with time.  The spool valve end cap for the lift section was removed and the spool checked for operation.  Next the loader arm isolator switch and solenoid coil were both checked and found to be OK.  The main spool valve pressure relief valve was removed and dismantled, upon which the seal and internal parts were found to be broken.  A replacement pressure relief valve was fitted and set at 190 BAR.  The hydraulic tank was re-filled with hydraulic oil and the levels checked.  Finally, the machinery covers were replaced and the machine checked for operation.  Satisfied that everything was in order, our engineer left the site.

Winch assembly repair - site visit

Winch assembly repair - Danfoss HTP25 hydraulic pump

A new customer contacted us to purchase a Danfoss HTP25 hydraulic pump.  Upon finding out more about P&R Hydraulics' site visit service, the customer instructed us to install the pump onto a winch assembly.

Our engineer travelled to the docks and boarded the vessel that housed the winch assembly.  The old pump was removed and the winch assembly was inspected.  He installed the replacement Danfoss HTP25 hydraulic pump and re-filled the hydraulic tank with hydraulic oil.  The winch assembly was re-assembled and checked for operation.

Hydraulic bed ram assembly - refurbishment

Model 2359561

A hydraulic bed ram assembly was brought to us for refurbishment.  Our engineer dismantled the ram assembly and it was evident there was contamination throughout the unit.  All the parts were subsequently cleaned and inspected for wear.  Once all the necessary parts had been renewed the ram assembly was re-built and the hand pump tested for correct operation.

P&R Hydraulics can also inspect, test and repair hydraulic motors, pumps and valves using our in-house workshop and test-rig.

CAT wheeled loader hydraulic repair

CAT Wheeled Loader (Model No IT12F) - hydraulic repair

Our engineer was called to site to inspect the hydraulics on a CAT wheeled loader (model No IT12F).  Upon inspection he found the spool valve to be faulty.  He was unable to repair the spool valve on site, so he returned with it to our in-house workshop. 

A further site visit was needed to re-install the repaired spool valve to the machine.  Our engineer checked the pump flow and valve maximum pressures.  The machine operation was checked and once satisfied that everything was working as required, our engineer left the site.

Eaton Hydraulic Motor repair

Model No 112-1067-006

A unidentified hydraulic motor was brought into our workshop for inspection.  Our engineer identified the unit as an Eaton hydraulic motor model number 112-1067-006.  The motor was dismantled, all parts were cleaned and inspected for wear.  Pitting on the shaft at the location of the shaft seal was causing the motor to fail.  The shaft/bearing assembly was renewed and the motor resealed.  The re-assembled motor was tested on our in-house test rig.

P & R Hydraulics is able to perform inspections, repairs and tests on hydraulic motors, pumps and valves.  If the original unit is considered beyond economic repair, we are able to quote for and supply a replacement unit.
